This past three months have been extremely challenging. Not just in life, but in school and in my writing. In starting this blog, I had a goal to blog weekly and even though I didn’t hit each week on the head, I did blog the 12 individual blogs. I’d call that a win. Today is my final blog for a while. I absolutely plan to continue blogging in the future. I will set a new goal and update when that time comes. With this said, the topic of this blog will be my reflection. When starting this blog my perception on things were very different. Although my outlook on life is constantly developing, I took this project as a challenge and an opportunity to learn something new. I wanted to challenge myself to complete something “small” and show the world a different side of me. Initially thinking this would be “easy” – although not “hard” – it was challenging. I found, it was difficult to narrow down my thoughts and I realized that I was SO much more scattered than I anticipated. But I learned something new, EVERY blog. Personally, I learned that I have a difficult time with consistency and that is absolutely something I need to work on. Not just here but in life. As a small business owner and college student my time is limited and needs to be thought out and planned strategically. I learned to budget my time better and reminded myself that my readers counted on me also. Throughout the course of this blog developing I took on topics such as “The Concept of Personal Branding”, “Networking Can Occur Anytime, Anyplace” , and “The Importance of Following Your Dreams”. Learning about each individual topic in a little more detail than just “common knowledge” was absolutely thrilling to me. I found new ways to approach topics, new websites to add to my knowledge base and learned a new platform pretty thoroughly to create my blog site. As I continue to work on different projects I’ll never doubt myself in the “I can do that” category. I know I just need a plan. In looking through the rear view mirror on this blog, I’m content with what I see. In looking through the windshield, I will focus on ways to make it better the next go around. Stay on the lookout. I’ll be back. In my final reflection I’d love to hear from you. How did I make your life a little better? What could I have done better? What topics would you have loved to hear more about? As always, I can be reached through the comments forum on this blog or at any of the links on my contact me page. Thank you for your time. Thank you for reading my blog. I cannot wait to continue in the near future. Remember to stay encouraging and be encouraged. Until next time everyone!
